The pride of the Canadian Rockies, Rob has more than 24 years of experience in network sitcoms, sketch comedy, animation and motion pictures. Most of it positive.
As a TV and commercial director, Rob works for all broadcast networks, and major brands, such as Kraft, Ziploc and Ford. He directed all seasons of the critically acclaimed IFC series Maron; Lady Dynamite and Mystery Science Theater 3000 for Netflix, and studio feature campaigns starring Tom Cruise, Ben Stiller, Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Will Smith and Robert Downey, Jr.
Rob’s writing stints include The Ben Stiller Show (for which he won an Emmy), The Big Bang Theory, Saturday Night Live, and The Simpsons. (This last gig also entrenched him for some sort of odd eternity as the visual inspiration for the character of Bart’s best friend, Milhouse.)
He won a 2016 Webby Award for his commercial work, and has been nominated for multiple Writers Guild of America Awards.
Rob’s turn-ons are honesty, cold pizza, and moderately short bios.
